Wrap-up: Our Ultimate Ford Vehicles

Wrap-up: Our Ultimate Ford Vehicles

ZipSetGo.com had such a great time test driving the Ford vehicles over the last 6 weeks. We learned a lot about these great cars and about our own needs and wants for our next vehicle purchases.  Below, we have combined all our favorite features into our ultimate vehicles...maybe someday, Ford will create these cars just for us...

Ford A-Force

For my ultimate Ford vehicle, the A-Force, I would take the size of the F-150 and pump it up 3 inches, so I would be able to look into the eyes of the semi drivers on the highway.  It would only come in classic Metallic colors – Black, Sliver and Red.  I would have the accelerated Microsoft technology package that would have my “favorite” destinations pre-programmed, be voice activated and would drive you where you need to go…while you catch up on email or phone calls. The A-Force would have a mac-daddy entertainment center with a massive sound system – subwoofers included. I will need all of the extra space in the rear cab for the oversized gaming system the kids will use while on road trips. The top of the cab will roll into itself, so on nice days you have a modified convertible. The towing and off-road capabilities of this vehicle are out of this world – only rivaled by a military-issued tank.  Off road or on, this powerful machine has not given up sleek lines, luxury interiors or a shiny chrome package. So, if you’re driving your clients to dinner or taking an adventure vacation in the Tetons… A-FORCE HAS YOUR BACK!

Ford Super Car

Testing driving Ford vehicles turned into a ton of fun! I thought my car was fairly up-to-date, but it turns out it’s from the dark ages, at least compared to the 2011 Ford models I have been cruising around in. If I could make a Super Car, a car just for me, out of all the Fords, here it what it would be:

I would take the security of a Ford F-150 safety is important, and I felt like I ruled the road in this beast. Next up is looks, and surprisingly I liked the Ford Edge crossover vehicle the best. Its sleek exterior and modern interior with a sunroof that extends to the back seat won me over. The Ford Edge also had a large touch screen that turned into a back-up camera automatically, which I loved. In addition to that, it had alerts in the side view mirrors for when someone was in your blind spot – genius! As for size, I preferred the Ford Escape, slightly smaller than the Edge and easier to maneuver. The last trait of my Super Car would be great gas mileage, like the Ford Fusion hybrid. Finally I would take the great sound system, and the Sirius radio that all new Fords come with.

Ford Fantasy
We had a great time test driving all the various Ford Vehicles in the Kick the Tires series. As a mom with a long commute, my ultimate Ford vehicle is…the Ford Fantasy:

  • From the Ford Edge, I would absolutely take the MyFord Touch. This in-dash system was a techie’s dream and I MUST have it in my next car.
  • The the roomie back seat in the Ford F-150 would be perfect for my taller- than-average kid and all his “stuff”.
  • The Ford Escape was the perfect size for me – big enough to feel like I am sitting up above many other vehicles, but not too big like the F150.
  • The Ford Fusion had great pick-up and umph
  • And, then there was the Ford Covert (a made-up car) which boasted 9 million+ miles to the gallon :).  I need this for my 150-mile round-trip commute!

Big thanks to Lebanon Ford for letting us have some fun with these great Ford vehicles!  It was great to be able to test-drive so many varieties of cars to learn what I really want in my next vehicle.

Ford vehicles are the best cars! My first auto was a Ford and probably that's why I will always be fond of these automobiles. I got it through an car donations program but it was in great shape and I owned it a couple more years before giving it away.

I just love reading your car reviews, Ford makes really good vehicles and thanks for insight into some of the better vehicles from this car maker. If you love old and classic cars then Beverly Hills Car Club has the majestic Mercedes 190sl, one of the most beautiful Mercs I have ever seen.

There is no doubt that Ford put some nice package on its vehicle lines. Its car are packed with Ford Parts that will make your travel experience an unforgetable one.

Although I always preferred Honda over ford but a recent incident made me a ford fan as well. Last month while I was looking around a garage for a second hand car, I found a ford escape and fall in love with it (as it was the most scratch-less SUV standing there). While searching about it furthermore I found out that Eibach Springs of this SUV needed to replace which made me a little skeptical about my decision. But I preferred to go with it and fixed everything with utmost care. The moment I started the ignition. i knew what a piece of beauty I bought. Since then, It really is an awesome driving experience.

Ford is the most preferred car in the world. The interesting thing about such cars is that there is hardly any car to beat its performance. It could give other cars a run for their money. I recently decided to buy a Ford Fusion from NH used cars.
