So you’ve booked your cruise and you’re ready to roll. You may be wondering “where to eat?” No worries. If traveling aboard the Paul Gauguin there are many dining options and the menu choices are great. Here are my recommendations. First, try Le Grill, located on the top deck; you will probably want to make reservations for an evening dinner. The atmosphere is laid back, and it’s open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I ate breakfast here every morning. They offer breakfast buffet-style with made-to-order hot items. Next recommendation, La Veranda. This was my favorite lunch spot. They have an excellent salad bar and a different type of cuisine every day, plus they offer sushi.

Great Restaurants in Tahiti:

  • L’Etoile – Loved their tasting menu. The wine’s chosen to accompany the food was amazing.
  • Bloody Mary’s (in Bora Bora) – If you are looking for a fun touristy place to go, head to Bloody Mary’s. Great to take pictures and enjoy the island in its best form. And if you are into fresh seafood, I don’t think you’ll find any fresher than here. It’s a very laid back environment with great food.
