Travelers' Night In was themed Urban Adventures this week - and was sponsored by the experts at Urban Adventures. One lucky winner won an urban adventure for two, and tips and stories were shared from travelers around the world. Here is the recap:
Q1. Most adventurous thing you've done in a city?
- Drove a scooter through the streets of Athens. If you've seen how they drive there, you know why this is adventurous. @christinenspain

- Bangkok while the Red Shirt protestors decided to take over my block last year...fun times...@ adventurousness

- three men waving a 2ft long sword around at me & 2 friends while in Cairo in the 80s due to 1 friend peeing on a temple by mistake @robinwsmith
- Got on a bus in Barcelona and moved about 6 inches in an hour. Finally got off & walked @mcmedia
Q3. Most unique local food adventure you’ve had in a city?

Roadside breakfast by @wherechugo
Par-boiled jelly fish followed by even less boiled carp in a Parisian Japanese restaurant... use your imagination with the carp! @malloryontravel
- Do horse meat and milk count? It is traditional Kazakh food @triptrotting
- Eating Nasi Gorang out of a brown paper cone with my hands in Bali @willingfoot
- Mystery meat in Oslo, think maybe Reindeer (hope not Rudolf) along w/some nasty Russian dessert. @weekendinparis
Q4. Most adventurous form of urban transportation you've taken?
Falling asleep on scooter whilst being the passenger @Pepificio
- Guaguas in the Dominician Rep. There, a "taxi" means clinging to a sweaty drunk man as he navigates an old motorcycle btwn potholes @travelswtavel
- Tuktuk in #Bangkok, Thailand @TravelingPerly
- Teaching my son to drive on I-95 downtown Miami (roadrage capital USA) @craventravels.

Q5. Tips for finding adventure in any city?

Asking the locals was a popular answers by travelers
- The Paris underground tunnels.You need an insider to get to them and an insider to get out. Amazing rave parties below the streets! @AdrianBono
- Local experiences. Locals know... Don't be afraid to try something totally different, and always seek adventures! @urbanadventure_
- GET LOST! Just go.....throw away the map and have some fun.... @TheTrvlPrincess
- Walk and walk with no plan, talk to the locals, and grab a city newspaper to see what events are going on around town for free @bikehiketravel
Q6. Most adventurous night out on the town?
- We did synchronized swimming routine in two stretch limos down Rodeo Drive through the sun roof returning to hotel- hysterical @MagellanPR
- Scavenger hunt in Sydney for a friend's birthday. Involved streaking through fountains, plenty of beer, singing to strangers, etc. @LindsayTessis
- Being part of a "Walk 'till you drop" marathon in Berlin. I lasted 27 hours. @AdrianBono
Q7. Favourite urban green space for an adventure?

Performer in Parque Sabana, San Jose, Costa Rica by @travelideasweb
- Very easy, a pool table, located in a tough part of town... @craventravels
- Dolores Park in San Francisco. Amazing people watching, impromptu slip n slides, etc. @ehalvey
- Vondelpark, Amsterdam- you just never know what you'll see @eriksmithdotcom
- The park outside the Kremlin in Moscow. So many people, beer carts, a nearby food court. @batgirl76
- La Cimitere Pere Lachaise in Paris...it's beautiful, and such an adventure to find all the famous tombs. @lindsontheroad
Q8. City you most like to explore on foot?
- Athens, Marrakesh, Cairo, Paris, I'm not picky...I'm definitely a city girl! @christinenspain
- Sydney, I love walking around the city especially all the cobblestone alleys in the rocks area. Love the history. @travelsceneUSA
- Tokyo by foot and by night! Neon lights and the craziness atmosphere must be insane! @ryanmccoll
Q9. Most memorable local urban experience while traveling?
- Living as expat in Brussels for 2 years, I know that's a LONG experience, but it was the "trip" of a lifetime! @zipsetandrea
- Walking home at 1 AM through Sydney's Hyde Park, looking up in the trees & seeing giant glowing opossum eyes staring down at me. @whereisandrew
- Walking down a series of very dark alleys + stairs to find a sun-filled verdant courtyard for coffee in Istanbul. @jcreaturetravel
- An evening pipe organ concert in a candle-lit Saint Stephen's Cathedral in Vienna. @FlyingPhotog
Q10. What urban adventures do you have planned this year?

Vancouver's pretty skyline
- Plan to disguise myself as an Ermine and follow Wills & Kate thru Canada @banff_squirrel
- Ho Chi Minh City + Bangkok by bike in Dec. Excited! @thetripchicks
