Things to Know - Horseback Riding

I have taken many tours on horseback, and with experience you learn what not to do: here’s some sage advice that will save you much aggravation on your horseback riding tour.
- If you have never been on a horse before, make sure your first time is on a nose-to-tail ride.
- Ask questions before you get started: How many times have the horses have been out that day?
- Always wear jeans and closed-toe shoes.
- Take some over-the-counter pain medication before hand; you will be sore after the ride.
- If you have any back problems, don’t sign up for this activity.
