As I was sitting at work negotiating the second contract of the day, when it dawned on me that if I ever lost the travel bug – I could be an attorney and as a matter of fact I should have Esquire at the of my name now!! Well that might be stretching it but I think one day – I would make a hell of a paralegal.

Admittedly, I do not often fly American Airlines because I prefer other airlines that I have frequent flyers accounts with. After my last trip with American Airlines, it looks like that won’t be changing anytime soon.

I was a little skeptical when a good friend of mine called and suggested we head down to Biloxi, Mississippi, for some gambling and the New Orleans Jazz Festival. Well, even though I was skeptical, I have never had a bad time in the “Big Easy,” and I had never been to Biloxi so, why not….? I packed my bags and headed out the door – short notice, but I am always ready to hit the road!

The first New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival in April, 1970, was born out of a spontaneous, momentous meeting where multiple jazz and music festivals happening the same weekend came upon each other setting up their separate festivals and started singing and playing their instruments together. How much can you do in 72 hours in a city you have never been to before?  A lot! @ZipSetRachel and I flew out of our home city bright and early Friday morning to get into Boston by 10:00 AM to be able to have a full day of touring and sightseeing before our event Friday night  - We hit the ground running!
