2010: The “Art of the Doing Business"

As I was sitting at work negotiating the second contract of the day, when it dawned on me that if I ever lost the travel bug – I could be an attorney and as a matter of fact I should have Esquire at the of my name now!! Well that might be stretching it but I think one day – I would make a hell of a paralegal.

Say Yes to San Francisco’s Westin St. Francis Hotel

The Westin St. Francis Hotel is probably not the hippest place to stay in San Francisco. If you are looking to meet the young and glamorous, this isn’t the place. The Westin St. Francis is filled with handsome men in suits, which isn’t necessarily terrible either, which makes me say yes to San Francisco’s Westin St. Francis Hotel.

Quick Tour of Boston

 So I only had seven hours to spend in the beautiful city of Boston, MA, which made it a very quick tour of Boston. Thanks to great suggestions from @adventurouskate and @theexplorateur, I hit up nearly every suggested place and had a great walking tour of Boston getting to sample the restaurants, Boston’s great brews, landmarks and historic places.

I was a little skeptical when a good friend of mine called and suggested we head down to Biloxi, Mississippi, for some gambling and the New Orleans Jazz Festival. Well, even though I was skeptical, I have never had a bad time in the “Big Easy,” and I had never been to Biloxi so, why not….? Located about 45 minutes north of the Kona International Airport in Keahole, The Mauna Lani Bay Hotel was a great group hotel! It’s a quick, easy drive from the airport on the same road as the Iron Man competition takes place. The road is not quite what you would expect of Hawaii; it’s all black lava rock but scattered with white coral. A lot of people write messages or logos with the coral; a fun way to literally leave your mark in Hawaii.
