There are drivers who still drive even though they are so tired and sleepy. Sometimes it is the reason why accidents happen. A study by the Automobile Association of America found that 32 percent of drivers questioned admitted to driving at some time when they were so tired it was hard work to keep their eyes open. A report from 2010 found that 16.5 percent of all traffic fatalities resulted from driver sleepiness. Ford is introducing a new technology that it hopes will reduce these troubling statistics.
