Ahhh … Grand Cayman. This is by far the best known of the Cayman Islands and I can’t even begin to tell you how much I was looking forward to journeying to this destination. Imagine: spectacular beauty, white-sand beaches stretching for miles, a blazing sun warming your skin and the bluest skies you’ve ever seen. It’s absolutely beautiful.
After I arrived and got through the airport, it was a quick 15 minute ride to my hotel. I stayed in the Ritz Carlton, which is always a great place to escape to. The hotel is gorgeous … pure luxury, so if you are planning a trip to Grand Cayman, consider staying here. You won’t be disappointed. Word of advice: because the hotel is divided in a way where one side offers rooms with ocean views and the other side, no view at all, ask what kind of view your room will have when you’re booking a trip.
I was super busy while here, so unfortunately, I didn’t have much time to venture beyond the hotel. Thankfully, the hotel has lots of great perks: delectable restaurants serving a variety of fresh cuisine; myriad boutiques to browse and shop; gorgeous rooms to unwind and relax in; and a friendly staff that will go above and beyond to make your stay unforgettable. Since the beach is right there; I did manage to spend one evening relaxing and reading a book on the white-powder sands. I can almost feel the salty breeze blowing through my hair right now …
I know what you mean. When I stayed at the hotel, I was looking at new construction the whole time. Definitely did not have the water view.
