Continuing the Prague after-dinner pub crawl adventure tour with pub two – U Medvidku, a very large pub that also happens to make great pretzels. There are two main areas to this place, both of which are very loud, but the atmosphere is great. The food and beer, however, not so much. And the service wasn’t terrific. Plus, the language barrier made communication very difficult. I suggest leaving this one off of your “places to visit” list.
Finally, pub three – U Vejvodu. This is a very small pub mostly frequented by the locals after work. Great beer. Terrific even. They like to call it the original Budweiser. They were light on staff the night I was there – one bartender, who was pretty quick on his feet, and the owner, who helped out when the bartender was in a pinch. This was by far my favorite of all three pubs on the pub crawl; I would recommend stopping in here on your next trip to Prague.
