Ice Cream, You Scream!

Ice cream you scream, we all scream for hand dipped, soft serve ice cream, or frozen yogurt, how about custard, or my favorite gelato.  What is your favorite cold treat?  July was National Ice Cream Month and what better place to enjoy than beach side! While on my family vacation in the Outer Banks, North Carolina my family and I make it a point to try several different local ice cream parlors alongside the beach and main road.  A few of our favorites and other recommended locations:
1.    Snow Bird’s – Boasting 24 flavors of soft serve.  A hole in the wall OBX staple.

2.    Fat Boyz – Assortment of hand dipped and soft serve treats.

3.    Booty Treats – Interesting name, so we had to stop in to try their signature mini melts.

4.    Kill Devil’s - If custard is your preferred sweet treat, this is the place for you!
