Guaro - clear liquor, similar to rum, made from sugar cane, and has a slightly sweeter taste than comparable liquors. The best way to drink it: Straight up or muddled with lime and simple syrup. The Four Seasons Costa Rica knows how to do it best.
FOUR SEASONS GUARO SOUR
2 ounces guaro
2 ounces simple syrup or 2 teaspoons raw sugar
5 to 6 lime wedges
Ice cubes
Sugar cane stick for garnish
Fill a glass of lime wedges and add 2 oz. of Guaro Liquor, using the sugar cane as a muddler, press on the limes until the lime juice extracts from the wedges to infuse the Guaro. Add sugar syrup liquid and fill the glass with ice. Serve wtih a sugar cane stick as garnish.
It’s so easy and very inexpensive… ENJOY!
