Variety is the spice of life, and the Ritz Carlton offers plenty with its choice of dining options. I just had to sample brunch at Restaurant Seven, and I can honestly say that they served the best omelet I’ve ever had. Plus, the service was reasonably quick. I was impressed by how late they ran their Sunday brunch buffet (until 3:00 PM), always ensuring that the food was hot and that there was plenty of it to go around.
I also tried Bar Jack, nestled next to the pool. Great food as well; the fish sandwiches and salads were so very fresh, and the service was super fast.
On my fourth night in Grand Cayman I dined at Prime Restaurant, a Brazilian Steak House. This you have to try; I highly recommend it if you are both starving and a big fan of protein. They serve all the fish, steak, lamb, chicken and pork you can eat. And the salad bar is awesome, too; I could have dined on that alone without the parade of protein. And of course, the waitress had to bring out their specialty dessert – fried ice cream. This was the first time I ever had it. It was absolutely scrumptious … the perfect way to end such a satisfying meal.
