My favorite Boston restaurant from the weekend was Scampo, hands down. Scampo is located in the Liberty Hotel, a fairly new Boston hot spot – an old jail that was converted to a luxury hotel. The hotel is modern with both touches of elegance and a jail-themed flair. The restaurant itself is beautiful inside, modern chic Italian. The waiters and patrons matched the atmosphere; Scampo is definitely a place for Boston’s young and beautiful.

Finally the sun was out; it was warm, perfect for walking around. Our cab driver dropped us off by the history museum and the University of Texas Art Museum; not what we originally requested but turned out to work better than we had planned. After snapping a few pictures in front of the star at the history museum we headed to the Texas Capitol Building; snapped a few photos, checked out the building, walked up the stairs, saw the house and senate rooms.

Anxious and excited for my first real vacation of the New Year, I headed to Austin, TX for a long weekend with my mom, best friend and her mom – a mother-daughter weekend to remember. We decided to go just before the rush of spring breakers which also happened to be the weekend before my birthday. I was pumped for our first mother-daughter weekend in March.

One of the things I like to do when I go to Las Vegas is treat myself to a show! Some people love it and some hate to think they are missing casino time to sit and watch another Cirque show – but I LOVE IT!

I just hosted a group at the brand new Aria resort in Las Vegas’ CityCenter. It is amazing to me that Las Vegas as a destination has been able to reinvent itself over and over; and CityCenter has definitely brought a new spin to some emerging trends. For instance, CityCenter itself holds six LEED Gold certifications from the U.S. Green Building Council and is a global showcase for design and sustainability. So if an organization is big on Green initiatives, CityCenter is a new place to explore.
