Sitting on the plane with ZipSetRachel planning our weekend trip to Boston – HOW MUCH CAN WE POSSBILY fit into 72 hours?  Based on this flight, quick planning, packing and friends who live in the city, we're going to have an adventure filled with History, Food, Wine and Segways… more to come on the Segways later.   Stay tuned this weekend for tweets, blogs, twit picks and video from the road while we're in Boston.  We are going to the Boston Marathon (no were not running were watching), the #Wineriot Friday & Saturday @ Cyclorama, and will be providing our Top 10 things to Do While in Boston with little time.

Do’s and Don’ts While Traveling

Well first off we will give you a DON’T – Rachel and I were up at 4:00 AM this morning to leave for the airport! All was going smooth – no traffic – valet parking – check-in – coffee in hand and the flight actually had overhead space for our carry-on luggage.  Seems to good to be true – right???  Well of course it was – no sooner than we sat down in our seats – we were promptly asked by a flight attendant if we had each bought on three carry-on’s . . . Now mind you – we have been though four check points and this had not been a problem until now.  The Go-Girls travel for business and pleasure and this trip was not exception – so, of course, we did!  After 10 minutes of reorg-ing of luggage – computer bags and purses – we were ready to take off . . .

A quick connection in Baltimore, less than an hour did not stop us from shopping. Brookstone is an airport staple, and we found a few gadgets that we think are must-haves:

  1. Automatic Wine Opener
  2. Wine Presever

We also saw a 8gig video camera that would have been PERFECT for this trip. However, it took batteries, no rechargeable stand. Bummer.

Viva la Flip Camera!
