I must admit at (nearly) 26 years old I have NEVER been skiing before – until Saturday.  A pretty embarrassing confession considering the amount of cold weather destinations I have traveled to, I mean come on Park City, Utah last March, what better place to ski?  So yes, on a whim Friday afternoon my roommate text me and asked if I wanted to go night skiing – for me go big or go home I thought because I had always told myself I would get a lesson on my first time, unfortunately this was not an option for the twilight ski at

“Chelsea, Chelsea, Chelsea “ –  that chant will forever play in my head.  It’s pretty catchy and it’s all I heard as I attended my first European Football (or soccer depending where you are) game.  Let me start by saying it was AWESOME!

Have you seen these in your airport? GoPicnic – the “ready-to-eat-meals” have come up with the adult version of my favorite childhood lunch companion, lunchables.

"All You Need is Love" is the tag line for the Beatles inspired Cirque de Soleil show Love at the Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas that I recently had the pleasure of viewing.

Last week in Redondo Beach, I found my new (or at least for this week) favorite restaurant – Captain Kidd’s Fish Market. It appeared to be a local favorite.  I love the laid-back atmosphere and that the working staff are so helpful and offer their favorite suggestions.  Enjoy the freshest fish – fried, sautéed, baked, grilled, or however your heart desires.  Any fish option

That’s right I have found my new favorite pair of heals for fall travel.  I highly recommend them to anyone who LOVES to wear heals but doesn’t want the pain and discomfort of the standard pair of pumps.  Check them out – Liz Claiborne Zelin Leopard Wedge Pump.

I am a professional travel director! As part of an on-site team, I help ensure that group travel programs - meetings, incentives, events - run as smoothly as possible. Often in exotic destinations (and sometimes not so exotic), we are the feet on the group to make sure you are picked up at the airport, your hotel rooms is as ordered, your schedule is as planned and you have an enjoyable and/or productive experience. Although long, hard days are more the norm than the exception, I am gaining invaluable experience and having a great time doing it!

Last week I took the dreaded redeye from LAX to Memphis, Tennessee, for my cousins wedding.  I was pumped because I had never been to Memphis, but at the same time I was not sure of what to expect – was Elvis going to be everywhere or big hair on every person passing by?

How frequently do you go snorkeling when visiting warm island destinations? Well, for me, I’d have to say my time spent in the water are few and far between, that is until recently.  Turks and Caicos is known to have some of the most beautiful water in the Caribbean, and has through the years received multiple awards for best beaches, honeymoon destination, best hotels as well as best diving location.  I have to agree on all accolades including best diving, or rather, best snorkeling.

Ice cream you scream, we all scream for hand dipped, soft serve ice cream, or frozen yogurt, how about custard, or my favorite gelato.  What is your favorite cold treat?  July was National Ice Cream Month and what better place to enjoy than beach side!

I’m a big city connoisseur. I thrive in city life; love city travel. There are so many different types of people that give each city its unique personality and vibe that brings it to life. Give me a week in any big city and I’m in heaven! My philosophy: I like to stay busy and constantly experience new things; that’s why I chose the travel profession. I’ve been exposed to situations and experiences that you’d never believe. Life goal: I want to eventually travel to every country around the world. Eat in every five-star restaurant. Visit every great museum. Engage in other cultures. And really just live my life to the fullest. The secret to my success: Always be detail oriented! Make sure every detail is right.  I’m also a list person; keeping it short and simple, to ensure nothing is missed – I would rather do things right the first time! Tag-along with me on my next big city adventure.
