In nearly two decades in the corporate meetings and incentives industry, I have seen a lot, done a lot, learned a lot. I have designed, managed and operated hundreds of travel programs from 3 to 30,000 people and lived to tell about it…even enjoyed it. Pulling off the impossible - the big show - gives me a rush like no other. Hearing from one attendee who says that “the program I planned was the trip of a lifetime” makes my year! I am a travel planner through and through. Personally, I have become a “slow” traveler…taking time to meet lifelong friends and make an indelible mental imprint of each place I have the privilege to visit. I would rather spend six weeks in one destination – getting to know the people, culture and history – than one week in each of 6 destinations – moving too fast to remember the details. Travelers so often make that mistake. My travels have taken me to 6 continents and more than 30 countries so far, which has far exceeded my wildest dreams and there is still so much to see…

resort great! On my recent California road trip, I had the opportunity to spend a few days at
seen in our rear view mirrors. It used to be fun to fly, but now it seems that air travel is an often necessary evil to get to a destination. Many experienced travelers have honed the science of traveling by carting along their preferred creature comforts (iPods, Kindles, etc.) to escape into a different world and ignore the surrounding irritations.
