You simply cannot appreciate a destination without understanding its culture. It seems the more cultures I learn about the more I learn about myself!
Chicago Cubs Game – Rooftop!

I am not a sports fan, and I don’t claim to be one, but a baseball game over the weekend in Chicago made me realize why baseball is America’s favorite pastime.
Since it was Sunday, July 4th, spirits were high headed into the game. Our gang was decked out in “America” gear, all sporting red, white and blue. When visiting Costa Rica, I loved staying at the Four Seasons Resort Costa Rica at Peninsula Papagayo. The only bad thing I can think of about staying there is the lack of exposure to the Costa Rican culture. The hotel is about 45 minutes from the Liberia airport, and there is little to see in between.
